COCO, de Disney·Pixar, es un apelícula que hablará de la fortaleza de los lazos familiares, los personajes de la cinta pertenecen tanto a la Tierra de los Vivos,como a la Tierra de los Muertos, en este caso los seres queridos que han fallecido. Narra la historia de Miguel y su familia, la cual se ha dedicado por generaciones a hacer zapatos y por una extraña situación prohiben la música, A pesar de ello Miguel sueña con convertirse en un músico consagrado, como su ídolo Ernesto de la Cruz. Dirigida poer Lee Unkrich y Adrián Molina; y producida por Darla K. Anderson (TOY STORY 3), COCO llegará a los cines de México el 27 de octubre.
“Estos mundos paralelos no pueden ser más diferentes”, cuenta Unkrich. “Uno es Santa Cecilia, el pueblo natal de la familia Rivera, un sitio encantador y trabajador. El otro es la vibrante y rica tierra donde los seres queridos van cuando han muerto. COCO presenta personajes de ambos mundos en la víspera del Día de los Muertos; una noche extraordinaria en la cual un chico vivo, llamado Miguel, conoce el otro lado”.

- MIGUEL: Un aspirante a músico de 12 años de edad, quien lucha contra la prohibición musical impuesta por su familia. Cuando un mágico contratiempo lo lleva directo a la Tierra de los Muertos, Miguel busca allí a su ídolo, Ernesto de la Cruz, para que lo ayude a regresar a la Tierra de los Vivos antes de que sea demasiado tarde. - ABUELITA: La abuela de Miguel y la máxima vigilante de la prohibición musical en la familia Rivera. Ella ama mucho a sus descendientes y haría cualquier cosa para protegerlos.
